Mrs. Ramsey has worked in the civil engineering industry for nearly four decades. Her passion for civil engineering began in Ireland where she attended University College Galway and received her Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering and Chartered Membership of the Institute of Engineers (BE CEng MIEI).
While at WMC, Mrs. Ramsey has initiated and maintained relationships with the leading architectural and development firms in the Mid-Atlantic Region for the development of a multitude of high profile projects.
Joseph Mensch
Over the course of his career, Mr. Mensch has completed thousands of commercial, office, retail, residential, and mixed- use projects within the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as others throughout the US and abroad.
He ensures each project runs smoothly by coordinating with fellow team members. Every step of the way Mr. Mensch is there to see that each project is completed on time and within budget.
Associate Principals
Matt McComas, PE, LS, LEED AP
Mr. McComas is responsible for designing WMC's most complex sites. Matt McComas has over 20 years of experience in the civil land development engineering and land surveying fields covering the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and internationally. He performs QA/AC and technical review as well as project management for a variety of project types, including Federal, military, design-build, historic, and urban development projects. He graduated with distinction from the Virginia Military Institute with a degree in Civil Engineering and is licensed as both a Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor. Additionally he is certified as a LEED Accredited Professional and a Designated Plans Examiner in Loudoun County, Virginia.
William Lattanzio, PE, LEED AP
Mr. Lattanzio is a Project Manager at WMC and has been involved in a variety of market sectors in Washington, DC including historic, Federal, residential and commercial, military, and urban development projects. Lattanzio’s responsibilities include coordination with the developers/owners for the general supervision, planning, budgeting and scheduling of the project. His experience gained from involvement in over 100 projects in the District of Columbia has allowed him to gain a superior knowledge base in civil design, permitting, and construction.
Craig Atkins, PLA, LEED AP
Mr. Atkins has over a decade of landscape architecture experience focused in the Washington, DC region. His role has evolved to a level that has put him in control of every phase of a project from design through construction and has allowed him to advance his understanding of the landscape architecture profession and its companion disciplines. Mr. Atkins’ experiences has also afforded him the opportunity to attain a full grasp of the design process, including the technical components of grading and construction detailing as well as an understanding of the construction and construction administration process.
Marcelo Lopez
Mr. Lopez has over 15 years of experience in civil engineering and land development in the District of Columbia. He graduated from AMA University in the Philippines with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the design and management of over 300 projects in the DC area. He is currently the head of the DC Division, specializing in civil engineering design of K-12 facilities, universities, museums, religious structures, historical renovations, offices, multi-level residential buildings and mixed use developments.
